What Size/Measurements do I use?

Refer to the below reference image for the three measurements you will need to take to ensure proper sizing. Generally, all 3 will be within the same sizing guidelines and very close in measurement, however every little head is shaped differently, so taking all 3 measurements is recommended for the best fit. In the case that the measurements vary outside of a size or you have any questions about sizing please reach out for assistance before placing your order.

Small(3-9months) 15-17 inches / 38-44cm

Medium(6-18months) 17-19inches / 44-48.5cm

Large(12-36months) 19-21inches /48.5-53.5cm

Please note, if a flexible tape measure is unavailable, you can use a string and ruler to take these measurements.

Remember a snug fit is important to keep everything in place so please don't size up!

What is the best product for me?

Well, this can be complicated. Every little one has different needs. It is important to consider are your little one's age and the type of device. Pilot caps work well for all ages and most devices. Headbands are great for little ones with lots of hair or that are not going through the grabby stage yet and are using HA or OTE CI. If your little one is near the 6-month mark, I would go with the cap until their curious magician hands stage is over. Remember that it will be a process to get used to wearing our product. You got this! Please reach out with any further questions so I can help assist you.

Can I leave my child unattended while using retention products?

NO, please do not leave your little one unattended while awake, asleep or in the car. Some devices can still be a choking hazard while using our products. Our products help to provide a extra barrier between hands and devices to reduce the frequency of them being pulled out, but they do NOT totally prevent it. Use safety guidelines given by ENT or other specialist.
