Which Retention Option do I need?

We know there are quite a few different retention options we offer at Little Gates Creations, and on top of the stress of keeping track of your little one's devices, it can be hard to figure out exactly which option will be best for your needs. Don't worry; we have created a little cheat sheet for you here to hopefully make the process a little easier for you.

Common Situations

Below are the basic situations in which our retention products are most commonly used and best suited. Pilot Caps

Caps generally work well for all ages, come in many different options, and can be combined with other retention options for an extra level of defense.

Headbands

These are most effective with children who are sitting and spend less time laying down and moving their head around. They are also great for photos and if you want to show off your little one's hair.

Retention Cords and Necklaces

These are perfect once your little one is running around, and can be used underneath our caps. There are many options for connecting to hair, clothing, etc. which also helps to keep devices from getting lost because even if the come off they are still attached and can easily be put back on rather than ending up on the ground or stuck to something magnetic, and ultimately missing.

Retention Bows

These are very helpful for the little one who just doesn't want their device on their ear. The processor goes inside the bow and attaches to a pigtail. It is recommended to use one per device attached on the sides of the head to help keep them close to each separate ear for sound differentiation.
